YES! The cast of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella are taking part in a reunion special!
The stars of the historic film, along with other celebs, sit down for a 20/20 special to talk about the impact of the movie, with interviews, rare behind-the-scenes footage and more.

In the one-hour program, we’ll hear from members of the cast – Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Paolo Montalban, Victor Garber, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander and Veanne Cox – as well as Billy Porter, who played Fabulous Godmother in the Amazon film, Cinderella super fan Todrick Hall and Jade Jones, who plays Belle in the off-Broadway tour of Beauty and the Beast.
The reunion special explores how the revolutionary made-for-television musical expanded society’s view of the term “princess” and includes interviews with original cast members, as well as rare behind-the-scenes footage with Whitney Houston.
This is in celebration of the film’s 25th anniversary, which is coming up on November 2nd.
Cinderella: The Reunion, A Special Edition of 20/20 will air Tuesday, August 23rd at 8pm ET/PT on ABC, next day on Hulu.
Right after the special, The Wonderful World of Disney will air the film for the first time on broadcast television in more than two decades.
