The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers are back and the new season two trailer just dropped on Wednesday (August 31)!

The Disney+ series may be coming back, but not all of the stars are returning for the second season.

Of course, Emilio Estevez is not back, with Josh Duhamel stepping in to take on a new leading role.

In season two, after winning back the Mighty Ducks team name last year, our squad-with-heart and their coach Alex Morrow (Lauren Graham) take to the road to attend an intense summer hockey institute in California run by charming yet hardcore former NHL player, Colin Cole (Josh Duhamel). It’s a place for kids to get excellent at hockey — without school to get in the way. As our Ducks try to survive in this super-competitive environment, they’re faced with the question: Can you win summer?

The young cast members/Ducks returning for the new season include Brady Noon (Evan), Maxwell Simkins (Nick), Sway Bhatia (Sofi), Luke Islam (Koob), Taegen Burns (Maya) and DJ Watts (Sam). Another new cast member joining is Naveen Paddock as a series regular.

Noticeably absent for season two are Bella Higginbotham (Lauren), who has an exciting new role on another show, as well as Keifer O’Reilly (Logan). Since the Ducks are going to a summer hockey institute, their absence can easily be explained as them not being able to go.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers season two will debut new episodes weekly, beginning Wednesday, September 28th!
