'Cars on the Road' Opening Title Sequence & New Clip Debut on 'Lightning McQueen Day'

Happy Lightning McQueen Day!!

To celebrate the occasion on Monday (September 5), aka 9/5 for Lightning’s number 95, Disney and Pixar debuted some closer looks at the upcoming new series Cars on the Road.

The soundtrack, a new three-minute clip and the opening credits sequence, along with new photos, were all debuted on the special day!

Cars on the Road follows Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) and his best friend Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) as they head east from Radiator Springs on a cross-country road trip to meet up with Mater’s sister. Watch the trailer here!

The new series will debut on Disney+ Day, which is THIS Thursday (September 8) on Disney+.
