Zendaya Makes Emmy Awards History Again, Wins 2nd Lead Actress Award!
Zendaya has just made history once again at the 2022 Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater on Monday night (September 12) in Los Angeles.
The 26-year-old Euphoria star picked up the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series her role in the hit series.
Zendaya‘s win this year is history making, as she is the youngest Lead Actress two-time winner. She is also the first Black woman to win twice!
Viola Davis is the only other Black woman to win the Lead Actress in a Drama Series award.
She also won the same award back in 2020 for season one, and she made history then as the youngest winner!
Zendaya also has a chance to win Outstanding Drama Series as a producer, and she could make history again then as the youngest female producer.
