Grant Gustin Reflects on 'The Flash' As Final Season Begins Filming

Grant Gustin is looking back ahead of the final season of The Flash!

The 32-year-old star of the CW series took to Instagram on Tuesday night (September 13) for a little reflection before they started filming on season nine the next day.

“Tomorrow we start filming the final season of The Flash,” Grant wrote. “I’ll save the long, emotional captions for later in the season, but to say I’m grateful for this journey and the growth it’s provided me in so many different ways would be a gross understatement.”

He continued, “Thankful to everyone who helped give me this opportunity and all the fans of the show that have showed me and anyone that’s been a part of The Flash love along the way. Here’s a bit of a photo dump from my first year on the show.”

Grant then shared one last photo with Greg Berlanti, who created the show.

“One more. I couldn’t find this one when I was compiling the last post. This man is one of my favorite people for the rest of time. Just a good one. Thank you endlessly, Greg. ❤️,” he captioned the pic.

Greg simply responded, “❤️❤️❤️”

The Flash begins filming on it’s ninth and final season, which will be a shortened season, TODAY (September 14). The episodes will begin airing in early 2023.
