Joshua Bassett Releases New EP 'Sad Songs in a Hotel Room,' Drops 'Lifeline Music Video - Listen & Watch Now!

Joshua Bassett has just released his brand new EP Sad Songs In A Hotel Room!

The 21-year-old actor and musician dropped the six-song new project on Friday (September 23).

“Sad Songs In A Hotel Room comes from a transient period of my life, when I was constantly moving from hotel to Airbnb to a friend’s place, while also juggling some intense personal growth and change,” Joshua shared in a statement. “Each song on this EP tells a different part of the story from that time. In some ways, these songs feel like a bridge from one chapter of my life to the next, and I felt an urgency to put them out as I finish my debut album.”

In addition, Joshua also released the music video for his song “Lifeline” on the EP. In the visual, we just see him singing the emotional lyrics right to the camera.

Joshua‘s new EP comes after a few sold out concerts and in the midst of just starting to work on the new season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

He will also perform two sold out nights in Los Angeles in October at The Troubadour.
