The dancer is stepping in to fill in for Daniella and complete the Viennese Waltz with partner Joseph Baena.

1. Alexis is no stranger to competition shows – she’s the most recent winner of So You Think You Can Dance! While on the show, she worked with DWTS pros Daniella, Pasha Pashkov, Emma Slater and Sasha Farber. She was also on World of Dance and America’s Got Talent.
2. She is married to Jake Burton, who is attending Dental School at USC. They wed in 2018 after dating for several years.
3. Earlier this year, she performed on the DWTS live tour, and in 2019, she was on Derek Hough‘s live tour as well!
4. Like several other DWTS pros, Alexis is also from Utah.
5. She trained in ballet, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, tap, gymnastics and ballroom starting at age 6, at the Center Stage Performing Arts Studio in Orem, the same place where Derek Hough went!
