Walt Disney World Fan Favorite Character Figment is Getting a New Movie!

Figment fans just got some super exciting news!

The Imagination! mascot from Walt Disney World‘s EPCOT park has just been announced to be getting a new movie, according to Deadline.

Seth Rogen‘s Point Grey production company is working on the film for the purple dragon. Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit are set to write.

Figment was first created in 1983 and made his first appearance in the “Journey Into Imagination” attraction at EPCOT.

He also appeared in several short films over the years, and more recently appeared on the big screen in Inside Out and Toy Story 4.

This year, the Figment popcorn bucket was released and sold out very quickly, as fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the rare product.

The character is also featured in the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection, with a gold statue on display in all four parks at the Walt Disney World Resort.
