'Hocus Pocus 2' Notches Biggest Film Premiere On Disney+!

Fans couldn’t wait to check out the Hocus Pocus sequel on Disney+ this past week!

The 30-years in the making Hocus Pocus 2 premiered on the streamer on Friday (September 30), which reunited original stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, Sarah Jessica Parker and Doug Jones.

With fans eager to watch the movie among the anticipation, they flocked to view it, making it the biggest film premeire to date on Disney+!

While the streamer didn’t reveal exact numbers, they revealed that it was the No 1 film premiere on Disney+ domestically (in the US), based on hours streamed in the first three days of it’s release.

It may have been the most viewed, but like the original film (which has become a cult classic and Halloween-time staple), it doesn’t fare well with critics.

Hocus Pocus 2, at the time of this post, has a 62% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 55% audience score.

The first movie has a 39% critic score and a 71% audience score.
