According to Deadline, the series averaged 757,000 viewers for it’s premiere episode, the most-watched debut since Naomi earlier this year.

It also marks the most watched telecast since June 28, 2022 when Superman & Lois aired it’s season two finale.

In addition, The Winchesters premiere is the second most-watched premiere this season on The CW, just behind Walker‘s third season premiere the week before.

Just recently, executive producer and narrator Jensen Ackles noted that they of course have a built in audience already with Supernatural fans.

“We know that there’s a built in audience here that was obviously something that we wanted to protect and to service as much as possible, but also also have a little bit of a new voice and give this cast of characters kind of their own space to do what they need to do and not just be a tie to the mothership,” he told Variety.
