Nayah Damasen – 10 Fun Facts

1. I moved from the Bay Area to Los Angeles when I was 9 years old to pursue singing, acting, and dancing. My parents, along with my managers, believed in my dreams to make this leap.
2. I have the biggest fear of birds! It all stems from a dream I had when I was younger. Yeah, long story.
3. I love to organize my Spotify playlists and Pinterest boards in my free time.
4. One of my top favorite albums is “Chilombo” by Jhene Aiko. It has no skips in my opinion.
5. I’m allergic to Gluten. When I came to this realization, I was deeply upset because fried chicken and waffles were always a favorite of mine.
6. On that note, If I were to have one dessert for the rest of my life, it would be chocolate chip cookies. Gluten-free, of course!
7. I’m a huge fan of superheroes! My favorite tv show was The Flash for the longest time and I’ve watched all the marvel movies! My favorite superhero has always been Scarlet Witch.
8. The one movie I can never get bored of is Coraline. I could probably quote all the lines too! My siblings and I have been watching it since I was 6. I wasn’t able to go through any doors alone for the longest time.
9. When I read books, I always read the last page first. Yes, I know, I can hear you yelling at me through the screen. Although I read the last page, I still always find myself surprised on where the story really ended up going. Also, I don’t mind spoilers, so that explains a lot.
10. I used to have really bad stage fright as a kid! If any of my friends or family asked me to sing for them, I would start crying. However, I got the random confidence to sing for my school’s talent show at 5 years old. It ended up going pretty well and I haven’t stopped since.
