Freeform Unveils 'grown-ish' Return Date & New Series 'The Watchful Eye' Premiere Date

Freeform is sharing when two of it’s shows are premiering!

The season five return of grown-ish and the premiere of the new thriller The Watchful Eye are both coming at the start of the new year.

grown-ish‘s fifth season will return with it’s second half of the season as Junior (Marcus Scribner) finishes his first year at Cal U.

The new episodes of the hit, Emmy-nominated series will return on Wednesday, January 18th at 10:30pm ET/PT on Freeform.

New series The Watchful Eye, which was ordered to series over the summer, will make it’s premiere on Monday, January 30th at 9pm ET/PT, before moving to it’s regular 10pm timeslot.

The new show follows Elena Santos, played by Mariel Molino, a young woman with a complicated past, maneuvering her way into working as a live-in nanny for an affluent family in Manhattan. She quickly learns that everyone in the mysterious building has deadly secrets and ulterior motives. What they don’t know, however, is that Elena has some shocking secrets of her own.

From Ryan Seacrest Productions, Warren Christie, Amy Acker, Jon Ecker, Aliyah Royale, Lex Lumpkin, Henry Joseph Samiri and Kelly Bishop also star.
