Sadie Sink Says 'Dear Zoe' Role Was a 'Really Tough Mindset to Get Into'

Sadie Sink steps out for the premiere of her new movie Dear Zoe held at August Wilson African American Cultural Center on Wednesday (November 2) in Pittsburgh, Penn.
The 20-year-old actress was joined by some of her co-stars, including Kweku Collins, Mckenzie Noel Rusiewicz, Tanyell Waivers, Sophie Guest, Emmy James, Edlyn Sabrina, Megan Goedewaagen, and co-writer Marc Lhormer.
Dear Zoe is a “coming-of-age drama about a young woman grappling with the loss of her younger sister and the surprising places she turns to in order to cope with the grief.”
In a new interview, Sadie opened up about getting into character for the new movie.

“It’s a really tough mindset to get into,” Sadie told Extra. “It was three years ago. I think I just turned 17 when we started filming it.”
She added that it’s “very different” from her previous projects and that it was “a really good learning experience” for her.
“It was kind of learning every day, but I think I just really have to trust myself and trust the people I was working with,” she added.
