Gaten Matarazzo Reveals Dream Role In 'Star Wars,' But Doesn't Want to Do This

Gaten Matarazzo has dreams of being in Star Wars!

The 20-year-old Stranger Things star is expressing interest in the ever growing galactic universe.

During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Gaten was asked about a role he would love to be playing.

“Oh man, I don’t know. I feel like if any, if Star Wars would just give me a call,” he said. “I’m just saying, I’m like, right here.”

“It’s the reason I got into cinema and the reason I got into moviemaking,” Gaten continued.

However, he did mention there’s something he does not want to do in order to be in Star Wars.

“But if I’m going to be in Star Wars, I want to do voiceover. I don’t want to have to work out,” Gaten dished. “I just want to do, yeah, I’ll do voiceovers. Which I’ve been doing a little bit.”

Kelly Ripa then suggested that maybe he could be “one of those characters that wear robes a lot.”

“Sure. I guess, yeah. I can just like, yeah, I’ll just be a Jedi Knight. But like, only ever be like, meditating in a corner somewhere. That’ll be great.”

During the interview, he mentioned that they’re still in the writing process on the upcoming Stranger Things fifth and final season.
