Studio Ghibli & LucasFilm Team Up For Surprise Grogu Short

Studio Ghibli and LucasFilm teased a collaboration this week and now we know all the details!

The two companies worked together to create a surprise short called “Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies,” which will debut on Disney+ in celebration of the streamer’s third anniversary and the debut of The Mandalorian.

The animated short was hand-drawn and directed by Katsuya Kondo, with music by Ludwig Göransson.

If you don’t know, Katsuya is a Japanese Manga artist and animator, who has worked on Studio Ghibli films like Earwig and the Witch, Ponyo, The Wind Rises, Kiki’s Delivery Service, My Neighbor Totoro and many more.

Ludwig is a Swedish composer who has worked on The Mandalorian, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Book of Boba Fett, Turning Red, Tenet, Venom, Creed II and much more.

Zen – Grogu and Dust Bunnies is set to premiere on Disney+ TOMORROW (November 12) – a surprise indeed!
