Former Disney Channel Stars Jenna Ortega, Zendaya & Selena Gomez Earn First Golden Globe Nominations!

The 2023 Golden Globe Awards nominations were just announced on Monday morning (December 12)!

Former Disney Channel stars Jenna Ortega, Zendaya and Selena Gomez all earned their first nominations for this award show.

Both Jenna and Selena are nominated in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, while their respective shows, Wednesday and Only Murders in the Building, are up for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy.

Surprisingly, Zendaya picked up the sole nomination for Euphoria, for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama.

Other first time nominees include Austin Butler for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama for Elvis and Lily James for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for Pam & Tommy.
