OlderWill 'Young Royals' Have a Season 3? Netflix Reveals Fate of Fan-Favorite Series
Young Royals has been a fan-favorite series on Netflix for two seasons now!
The Swedish YA drama series debuted it’s second season just over a month ago, and the streaming service has now revealed if it will continue.
Upon it’s release, season two spent two weeks in the Netflix Top 10 Non-English shows, debuting at No 3 upon it’s premiere.
Here’s what Netflix said…
“Simon + Wilhelm forever? Young Royals will return for a third and final season,” Netflix shared on Wednesday (December 14).
Young Royals stars Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, Malte Gårdinger, Frida Argento, Nikita Uggla and Pernilla August.
The show follows Prince Wilhelm (Ryding) when he arrives at the prestigious boarding school Hillerska he finally gets an opportunity to explore his true self and find out what kind of life he really wants. Wilhelm starts dreaming of a future filled with freedom and unconditional love far away from the royal obligations – but when he unexpectedly becomes next in line for the throne his dilemma is heightened as he has to make a choice. Love or duty.
