Austin Butler, Julia Butters & More Attend Palm Springs International Film Awards

Austin Butler and Julia Butters hit the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Awards held at Palm Springs Convention Center on Thursday night (January 5) in Palm Springs, Calif.

While they were both in attendance for their respective movies, Elvis and The Fabelmans, if you recall, they both were among the star-studded cast of 2019′s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!

Also stepping out for the Palm Springs Film Awards were Julia‘s Fabelmans co-stars Gabriel LaBelle, Keeley Karsten and Sam Rechner. Their movie was awarded the Vanguard Award.

Austin received the Breakthrough Performance Award, Actor for his work as Elvis Presley, and his director Baz Luhrmann presented the award to him.

The Palm Springs International Film Awards mark a start to awards season, with both Elvis and The Fabelmans on multiple Oscar nomination shortlists.

We’ll be seeing a lot of the stars of these movies over the next couple of months at various awards shows, where they’re sure to all pick up numerous trophies!
