Mckenna Grace Drops New Single 'Ugly Crier' From Upcoming Debut EP - Listen!

Mckenna Grace is starting the new year with new music!

The 16-year-old actress and singer just released her latest single “Ugly Crier,” along with the accompanying music video.

“I wrote this song after I went to this Hollywood party with a bunch of celebrities and felt completely out of place. I didn’t know it was more of a black tie type of party and I showed up in my Taylor Swift cardigan with a bright lime green slimer purse. It was humiliating,” she shared of the track.

“All of these older, cool girls that I look up to were laughing and running around together and I was literally in the corner hiding out and feeling like a clown,” Mckenna added. “That feeling of mediocracy and not being able to quiet that constant voice in my head that repeats my worst insecurities and feelings over and over and over. I know I’m always an advocate of saying that you should be who you are and love yourself, but it’s easier said than done and some days it’s just really hard!”

Mckenna directed the music video with Gus Black.

“Ugly Crier” is the latest single from her upcoming debut EP, which is set to be released this spring!
