Finn Wolfhard Reveals How the Duffer Brothers Reacted to His 'Stranger Things' Spinoff Idea

Finn Wolfhard has an idea for a Stranger Things spinoff…

While appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (January 11), the 20-year-old shared how the shows creators, the Duffer Brothers, reacted to his idea.

Find out how they reacted inside…

“We were on set filming Stranger Things 4, and we were all talking about, like, if there’s going to be, like joking, ‘Oh, they’re all going to have us back in 20 years. We’re all going to be, like, fat and old and being like, Eleven, where are you? You know, that kind of thing,” Finn said.

“And then I was like, ‘Oh, but if you guys are actually going to do a spin-off, it should be this.’ And I said it, and the Duffers, like, looked at each other and looked at men, and they were like, ‘Could we talk to you for a second?’” he continued.

“Then they pulled me off and they were like, ‘That is the idea. Who told you?’ I was like, ‘No one.’ They were like, ‘What do you mean? You just, like, came up with it?’ And I was like, ‘Well, no, I just though that that would be a cool way to kind of expand…’ And they were like, ‘Well, yeah, I don’t know.’”

“Yeah, it was really funny. They were like, ‘Okay, well, don’t tell anyone,’” he added.

If you didn’t know, there is actually a Stranger Things spinoff in the works, and a stage play!

In case you missed it, it was recently revealed that Finn and his co-stars are getting huge pay increases for the upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things.
