OlderHBO Max Announces First Price Increase Since 2020 Launch
HBO Max is increasing their subscription price!
The streaming service, which launched in May 2020, has announced the new price increase will effect it’s ad-free monthly subscription and will take effect quite soon.

HBO Max’s new price increase will make the ad-free subscription cost go from $14.99 to $15.99 for existing subscribers, and will be effective on the next billing cycle on or after Saturday, February 11th.
According to the streamer, the increase will “allow us to continue to invest in providing even more culture-defining programming and improving our customer experience for all users.”
This news comes as plans are on the horizon for a combined HBO Max and Discovery+ merged platform, which was previously reported to be launching in the summer of this year.
