'Avatar' Is Coming to Disneyland, CEO Bob Iger Reveals

The West Coast is getting some Avatar love at Disney Parks!

Walt Disney Co CEO Bob Iger shared the super exciting news on Wendesday (February 8) during their quarterly earnings call.

This will be a first for Disneyland Resort, after Pandora – The World of Avatar opened at Walt Disney World‘s Animal Kingdom park in 2017.

While he didn’t reveal much, Bob simply stated that an “Avatar Experience” is “coming soon” to Disneyland.

We will just have to wait for the “coming soon” to find out more.

The Pandora land at WDW houses two attractions, Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’Vi River Journey, immersing fans into the world from the hit movie Avatar.

Just recently, Avatar: The Way of Water, the long-awaited sequel has been crushing the box office, and is working it’s way up the list of the highest-grossing movies of all time!

This past weekend, it surpassed Titanic, another James Cameron film, as the third biggest international movie in box office history.

There are currently three more movies planned, with one already filmed!
