Lana Condor, Yara Shahidi & Isabela Merced Join Ballerina Action Movie!

A star-studded ballerina action thriller is on it’s way!

Lana Condor, Yara Shahidi, Isabela Merced and Iris Apatow have all been cast in the upcoming movie Ballerini Overdrive from Bullet Train director David Leitch, who will produce, Deadline reveals.

Also set to star are Millicent Simmonds and Lena Headey.

Vicky Jewson is attached to direct the film, which is about “a troupe of ballerinas who find themselves fighting for survival as they attempt to escape from a remote inn after their bus breaks down on the way to a dance competition.”

Stunt designers Heidi Moneymaker and Renae Moneymaker are slated to create the movie’s dance-based action choreography.

The movie is set to start filming in Serbia in a few months.
