JoJo Siwa Signs New Deal to Develop Film & TV Projects with XOMG POP!

JoJo Siwa‘s young girl group XOMG POP! is getting into film and television!!

The six-person music group – Bella Cianni Lleren, Brooklynn Pitts, Dallas Skye Gatson, Kinley Cunningham, Leigha Rose Sanderson and Tinie T – will be heading back on screen, after first being formed through a Peacock reality series.

Deadline reports that JoJo and mom Jessalynn have signed with Pure Imagination Studios to develop film and television projects based on the girl group.

The first project is an animated children’s series taht will launch on TikTok.

According to the show’s description, the upcoming series will follow the girls “as they tour the known and the unknown universe in a magical, mysterious tour bus to play songs that celebrate that girls can be whatever they want to be and there’s no right way to be a girl.”

JoJo and Jessalynn will of course serve as executive producers.

“The best animated shows are timeless and can be watched over and over by multiple generations and transcend audience viewing behaviors. In addition to working with producing partners to build out our slate of scripted and animated content, we are ramping up our own IP library by teaming with established talent and creators who have a unique, authentic voice and something relevant to say to make something distinctive that will drive important conversations and resonate in an entertaining way,” Joshua Wexler, co-founder of Pure Imagination, shared in a statement. “This partnership will be a key part of building that strategy and an example of what it means to be a Pure Imagination Studios original.”

XOMG POP! is set to have a big year in 2023, with a whole line of products coming out, as well as a cruise with Royal Caribbean.
