Eric Stonestreet Joins 'The Santa Clauses' Season 2 As Production Begins

Eric Stonestreet is heading to the North Pole!

It was just revealed that the former Modern Family star has join the cast of the Disney+ series The Santa Clauses for it’s upcoming second season, which Disney reveals is now in production.

Eric will be portraying Magnus Antas, aka Mad Santa, who reigned during the 14th century and is now returning to try and take down Scott Calvin and reclaim the North Pole.

In season two of the series, the Calvin family is back in the North Pole as Scott Calvin continues his role as Santa Claus after retirement plans were thwarted when failing to find a worthy successor in season one. Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Calvin to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus.

The Santa Clauses was renewed for a second season back in December after the season one finale debuted.
