Maddie Ziegler & Musician Eddie Benjamin Break Up After Over 3 Years

It’s reportedly over for Maddie Ziegler and Eddie Benjamin!

The 20-year-old actress and dancer and the 21-year-old musician have “amicably split,” a source reveals to People.

The now former couple started dating in 2019, but kept their relationship on the down low for several months, before first being spotted in public together in December of that year.

Maddie then opened up about why they’ve kept their relationship out of the public eye.

In April 2021, the singer debuted the music video for his song “Speechless,” which starred Maddie, who danced throughout the visual.

They then made their first and only red carpet appearance at the premiere of Bullet Train in August 2022.

Previously, Maddie gushed about dating her best friend.

“I feel very excited every day that I get to date him,” she told ET. “We have such a good time together and we were best friends for a really long time before we dated. It’s like I’m just hanging out with my best friend every day. It’s really fun. It’s honestly the best. I love it.”
