New 'Riverdale' Poster & Photos Tease First 2 Episodes of Upcoming 7th & Final Season

We are just about a week away from the season premiere of Riverdale‘s seventh and final season!

Ahead of the final episodes airing, we are taking a look at some new photos, as well as the new poster, that have been revealed by The CW.

The stills from the popular YA series, based on Archie Comics, are from the first two episodes of the final season. We also got the scoop on the episode synopsis.

Featured in the photos include main cast members KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, Drew Ray Tanner, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse, Erinn Westbrook, Madelaine Petsch, Madchen Amick, Casey Cott and Vanessa Morgan, as well as new recurring guest star Nicholas Barasch, and the returning Molly Ringwald.

In episode one, “Chapter One Hundred Eighteen: Don’t Worry Darling,” after coming together to stop Bailey’s comet, the gang find themselves transported back to a simpler time – Riverdale 1955. While Archie (Apa) attempts to impress the new girl Veronica (Mendes), a Hollywood starlet, who has just arrived at Riverdale High, Cheryl (Petsch) sees her as a threat and formulates a plan to take her down.

Meanwhile, Toni (Morgan), Tabitha (Westbrook) and Betty (Reinhart) take a stand against Principal Featherhead after he stonewalls their attempts to write about the murder of Emmet Till. Finally, Jughead (Sprouse) attempts to convince the gang that they’re from the future.

The episode airs NEXT Wednesday (March 29) at 9pm ET/PT on The CW.

In episode two, “Chapter One Hundred Nineteen: Skip, Hop and Thump!” Riverdale High’s sock hop is around the corner and Archie (Apa) has his sights set on taking Veronica (Mendes) to the dance. Betty (Reinhart) is confused when Kevin (Cott) appears uninterested in taking things to the next level with her.

Elsewhere, Jughead (Sprouse) takes aim at Pep Comics, and Toni (Morgan) attempts to convince Cheryl (Petsch) to let Fangs (Tanner) perform at the sock hop.

Episode two airs Wednesday, April 5th at 9pm ET/PT on The CW.
