Selena Gomez Defends Hailey Bieber Against Online Bullying Amid Rumored Feud

Selena Gomez is speaking out.

On Friday morning (March 24), the 30-year-old actress took to her Instagram Story to reveal that Hailey Bieber has reached out to her to let her know that she has been receiving death threats amid their rumored feud.

Selena is now sending a message to her fans telling them to stop.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” Selena wrote.

“This isn’t what I stand for,” Selena continued. “No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”

The perceived drama between the two stars was once again put into the spotlight when Hailey uploaded a video earlier this year that was seen as a diss towards Selena amid body shaming headlines. The so-called feud then escalated further when fans though Hailey and her friend, Kylie Jenner, were mocking Selena‘s eyebrows in another post

During an interview from last year, Hailey was asked if she ever reached out to Selena to speak to fans about the online trolling.
