Nick Jonas & Shakira's Series 'Dancing with Myself' Officially Canceled at NBC

The dancing competition series Dancing with Myself will not be moving forward with any more seasons!

It was just revealed on Thursday (March 30) that the NBC series has officially been canceled after only one season, according to Deadline.

The decision not to renew was reportedly made months ago.

Nick Jonas, Shakira and Liza Koshy served as the dance creators and judges, with Camille Kostek as the host.

On the show, every week a new group of fun-loving dancers from all walks of life and of all ages compete in a series of high-energy dance challenges that are designed and demonstrated by the show’s celebrity creators.

Isolated in their own pods, contestants have a short time to learn the new routines, add their unique flare and then perform their hearts out in front of a live audience. As each round of the competition progresses, Shakira and her judging panel provide instant feedback and encouragement, but, ultimately, it’s the studio audience that decides who wins Best Dancer of the Night and gets to take home the cash prize.

Dancing with Myself premiered in May 2022 and ran for eight episodes. You can currently stream those episodes on Peacock.

Speaking of Peacock, did you see what will be added to the streamer in April 2023?
