'Euphoria' Season 3 Reportedly to Start Filming This Summer With Possible Time Jump

There’s a new update on the upcoming third season of Euphoria!

It’s been well over a year since the drama series was renewed for another season, and we knew it was going to be a while before it returned.

Since the end of season two, stars like Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have kept very busy filming multiple other projects, leading many to believe that the actors’ busy schedules was what led to a delay in the next season.

Creator and writer Sam Levinson has also been working on his next series, The Idol, with The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan and more.

Now, it looks like cameras will be back rolling on the set of Euphoria soon.

According to reports, season three will start filming in June!

In a new interview with Vogue, costume designer Heidi Bivens also dished that the upcoming season could be featuring a time jump of up to five years.

“I’m really excited to read the scripts. There is talk of it being approximately five years in the future, and that they’re not in high school anymore. Dorothy’s not in Kansas anymore. I mean, it might be a total trip. Who can say?” Heidi shared. “But knowing Sam’s brain, it’s gonna be exciting, and he will challenge all of us, because he won’t want to repeat himself. It’ll be something new for the audience to discover.”

She also said that once she signs on for a season of Euphoria, that’s nine months of work, this includes pre-production and during filming.

“Once I sign on to Euphoria, if I’m costume designing, it’s nine months straight in L.A. But, you know, Euphoria is my family, and I’ll do everything I can to make the third season of the show successful,” she said.
