Jordan L Jones Dishes on Not Knowing His Real Life Mom Auditioned for His Show 'Bel-Air'

Did you know that Jordan L Jones and his mom Ptosha Storey shared the screen together in Bel-Air season two?!

The actor, who plays Jazz on the Peacock series, was joined by his mom in the fourth episode of the new season, who played his mom, Mrs Ahmad.

In a new interview, Jordan opened up about how he didn’t even know that she auditioned at first!

Keep reading to find out what he said…

“I think the greatest part is that my mom actually auditioned for this,” he told Popsugar, noting that she didn’t even tell him. “I was like, ‘What the f*ck?’ You got to tell a brother.”

After he found out that she auditioned, Jordan did “put in a word with one of the showrunners, like, ‘Look, my mom has auditioned. She would be a great mom. She actually is my mom in life so it won’t be that hard.” But he didn’t push it further.

“The coolest part was that everything my mom has ever taught me about not getting handouts and putting the work in is coming to fruition on the same show that we’re working on together,” he added. “That was really cool.”

Season two is still going, so it’s unknown if Ptosha will appear again.

Peacock has already decided if Bel-Air will end or continue after season two. Find out the fate of the show!
