Max Reveals List of Titles Now Streaming in 4K with New Ultimate Ad-Free Tier

Max just launched TODAY (May 23) with a ton of new titles!

The streaming service combines both HBO Max and Discovery+ with a new, rebranded platform featuring content from both. While HBO Max is no more, and is now just Max, Discovery+ still remains as it’s own individual streaming app.

With the relaunch comes a brand new tier – the Ultimate Ad-Free Tier, which includes more than 1,000 titles in 4K, eight times as many as HBO Max had.

The new Ultimate Ad-Free Tier will feature the streamer’s highest paid subscription at $19.99/a month or $199.99/year.

According to the streamer, existing HBO Max subscribers will still have access to their current plan features for a minimum of six months following the launch.

Also included in the new Ultimate tier is four concurrent streams, up to 100 offline downloads.

“We understand the value of offering our users a cinematic playback experience and to that end, we’ve implemented more advanced technology workflows that allow us to release more 4K content in a faster, more efficient way,” Sudheer Sirivara, Global Technology Platform, Warner Bros. Discovery, said in a statement. “Max will offer more than 1,000 films and episodes in 4K at launch, and we’ll be adding more every month as we move forward.”
