High School Musical: The Musical: The Series is one step closer to being released!

Disney+ has finally given us an official first look at the upcoming fourth season, which is set to debut later this year.

Featured in the first look photos are returning stars Sofia Wylie, Joshua Bassett, Frankie Rodriguez, Dara Renee, Tony award nominee Julia Lester, Kate Reinders, Liamani Segura and Joe Serafini, as well as guest stars Kylie Cantrall and Matt Sato, and original HSM stars Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu!

The upcoming fourth season picks up as the Wildcats return from Camp Shallow Lake, where they’ll be preparing a production of High School Musical 3: Senior Year. However, their plans get interrupted when Principal Gutierrez announces that Disney has decided to make the long-awaited High School Musical 4: The Reunion movie on location at their beloved high school, and our Wildcats will be playing featured extras in the movie.

Several of the original stars of High School Musical are of course coming back!
