Landon Barker Teases New Song 'Friends With Your EX,' Seemingly About Girlfriend Charli D'Amelio & Her Ex Chase Hudson

Landon Barker has a new song coming out next week and there’s a very specific subject matter that it’s about!

The 19-year-old musician posted a TikTok video on Wednesday (September 13) lip-syncing to the song, which is titled “Friends With Your EX,” and the lyrics seem to point to two people in particular – girlfriend Charli D’Amelio and her ex boyfriend Chase Hudson.

“I close my eyes and I see you, it’s only you, I make mistakes but so do you, it’s what we do,” he sings. “I was friends with your ex, you were with him when we met.”

Another video posted to TikTok shares another snippet from the track, where Landon sings, “I was friends with your ex, you were with him when we met, guess he hasn’t found out yet, but I know he’s gonna kill me when he sees me with you.”

If you didn’t know, Charli and Landon were first revealed to be in the early stages of dating back in June 2022, over two years after she and Chase had announced they split up.

However, there were rumors online that Charli cheated on Chase with Landon and that the guys were best friends.

In the season two finale of The D’Amelio Show, Charli and Landon commented on the rumors and speculation.

“What people don’t understand is that we were dating off the internet, broke up off the internet. Like, I haven’t talked to him in, like, six months. Things have been over for a while,” she says. “I did not cheat on my ex-boyfriend, and they were not best friends… We have been broken up for so long. If people have a problem with that, that is not my fault. And I owe nothing to you.”

“People were going on and saying that, like, I was a cheater and it was just like stupid stuff like that that literally comes out of nowhere,” she added.

Landon said that he was friends with Chase, but they weren’t as close as people thought they were.

“Me and Chase were friends. Obviously it’s all love to Chase. I have nothing against him,” he said. “But it wasn’t like we loved each other like brothers then I betrayed him. That’s not what happened.”
