The 16-year-old actress dished to us on her upcoming album, her new obsession with True Blood and expanding her career. Check it:
On expanding her acting career beyond iCarly: “I would love to get into movies. I love comedies like Mean Girls and all those types of movies.”
On her upcoming solo album: “I’ve been working on it for over a year and I’m really beginning to focus on it a bit more. It’s pop/rock music, most of the songs are pretty upbeat. It’s fun, you can dance to it.”
On if she could guest star on any TV show: Probably True Blood. “It’s awesome. I just got into it because all my friends were into it. Before, I was like, ‘That’s so silly.’ But now I can’t get enough of it. I’ve been watching it On Demand, so I’m like three episodes behind (laughs).”

Justin Bieber steps out at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday evening (September 13).
It was a big night of events and the 15-year-old singer got to announce his own — his biggest fan! Tricia Matibag has been named the winner of Justin‘s VMA red-carpet shout-out competition.
Tricia dished to MTV about winning the competition, “That will be amazing and life-changing. I know I sound obsessed, but I am just a big fan. It means a lot [to win]. There’s no words to describe it. I was, like, shaking [when I heard].”
Justin‘s debut album, My World, is now available for pre-order and will hit stores on Tuesday, November 17.

Best Video of the Year winner Beyonce hands the microphone off to country cutie Taylor Swift during the 2009 MTV VMAs on Sunday night (September 13) in NYC.
The 28-year-old singer said, “Thank you. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV Award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments in my life. So I’d like Taylor to come out and have her moment.”
Taylor finally got her time in the spotlight, after Kayne West rudely stole it, saying, “I’d like to thank all the fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this summer. Thank you so much!”
