Katelyn Tarver, James Maslow and Ciara Bravo step out in style and layers at Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
Ciara, 13, who plays Katie on the popular Nick show stopped by to chat with JJJ about what’s coming up.
When we asked her if Katie would ever get a love interest, she shared, “Possibly, you never know. But there’s definitely more scheming on her part.”

Tiffany Thornton lets her hair go curly as she arrives at Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
The 24-year-old up-and-coming singer stopped to chat with JJJ on the purple carpet about meeting one of her idols, Martina McBride. Check out how it happened:
“Oh my God! Being on Sonny, we [the cast] meet kids all the time and it’s so refreshing to be on the other side of that. She walked into a diner that I was at for a business meeting and I looked at the people around me and said, ‘I’m probably going to start crying and need to take a deep, deep breath. I really want to go say hi to her.’ They actually made me go say hi to her and she was so sweet. It was so great.”

Ariana Grande keeps close to Justin Bieber backstage at Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
The 17-year-old Victorious starlet performed at the event singing Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful” and a new song which was written by Billy Steinberg.”
Billy actually wrote Madonna‘s “Like A Virgin.” So cool!
Ariana also shared with us about costar Victoria Justice‘s honor, “I’m so excited. She’s so awesome and I think it’s great that she’s being honored today.”
Avalon High stars Gregg Sulkin and Molly Quinn keep close on the purple carpet during Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
JJJ caught up with both stars on the carpet and had to ask about the love triangle between Will, Jen and Lance (Chris Tavarez).
Gregg laughed at first, but replied, “It was actually a lot of fun. We’re all such great friends on and off the set that it was really easy to film.”
Molly added, “It was different. When I told my friends about it [the love triangle], they were like ‘Really, you?’ But it was definitely not a hard day at work!”

Bow Wow checks out the purple carpet at Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
The 23-year-old rapper is the final honoree from the weekend event which salutes young Hollywood in philanthropic causes. Bow Wow‘s cause: Education Through Music – Los Angeles.
Bow Wow shared with JJJ about the honor: “I’m excited for this. It’s not often that you see a rapper get honored for something positive. For me to be honored alongside the others for Education Through Music definitely means a lot. It means that I’m making a difference and hopefully through this, I can change kids lives and make them want to get out, be positive and do something.”

Shailene Woodley shows off her star plaque backstage at em>Variety’s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday (October 24).
The 18-year-old was honored for her own charity, All It Takes which officially launched yesterday. Shai shared about starting the org with her mom Lori, “I had always wanted to start an organization, but I never knew what (kind). My biggest passion in life is helping the environment, and my mom’s biggest passion is anti-bullying and teaching kids to love each other and seek help if they feel the situation requires it.”
She continued, “So she wanted to start a anti-bullying organization, and I wanted to start an environmental organization, but neither one of us knew how to go about that. My mom came up with the name All It Takes. I would say it’s more of a movement than a charity.”

David Henrie hangs out with fellow nominees Justin Bieber and Bow Wow backstage at Variety‘s 2010 Power of Youth event at Paramount Studios in Hollywood on Sunday afternoon (October 24).
The 21-year-old actor was honored at the event for his work with LA’s Best, which provides a safe and supervised after school education, enrichment and recreation program for elementary school children ages 5 to 12 in the City of Los Angeles. During his acceptance speech, David brought one special boy up to tell the crowd was LA’s Best was to him. So sweet!
David was also spotted out last night (October 23), hand-in-hand with a new mystery girl at Las Palmas in Hollywood.
