Alycia Debnam-Carey shows off her award backstage at the 2016 MTV Fandom Awards held at PETCO Park on Thursday night (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.
The 23-year-old actress accepted the award for Fan Freakout of the Year for the untimely death of Lexa on The 100.
Earlier this year, Alycia opened up about her character’s sudden death on the show and the social outcry.
“I think it was so emotionally overwhelming,” Alycia shared at the time. “The reaction that sparked within people, where I’m reading texts and tweets from people saying, ‘I’m crying and in tears,’ to be able to say you’re a part of that is an amazing thing. I hate thinking people thought it was insensitive, because it was such a beautiful episode for us to shoot as well.”
She added, “I don’t think it was ever intended to aggravate anyone in a social situation. There’s so much love for that character…I hate to hear people wanting to not watch the show anymore for a certain reason like that. I do understand, of course, it’s a social issue.”

The 23-year-old actress joined Ryan McCartan, Christina Milian, and Reeve Carney to chat up their upcoming movie, Rocky Horror Picture Show.
During the panel later on in the day, the four debuted the first 25 minutes of the movie, which will make it’s debut on October 20th on Fox.

The cast of Teen Wolf hits the press line during the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.
Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Dylan Sprayberry, Cody Christian and Khylin Rhambo stepped out for the panel with executive producer Jeff Davis where they announced that season six would be the show’s last.
The show will run through 2017, and will end with its’ 100th episode.
“Teen Wolf has been an extraordinary journey, one that captured the hearts and imaginations of fans more than we could’ve ever imagined,” Jeff shared on the panel. “We’re eternally grateful for the support we’ve received over these past six years and we’re excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure.”
