“Fake Love” Korean pop superstars BTS and The Backstreet Boys teamed up together backstage at the Westwood One Backstage event over the weekend ahead of the 2018 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday night (May 20).

“We are such huge fans of @bts.bighitofficial! #BTSB #DontGoBreakingMyHeart #FakeLove,” BSB wrote on their Instagram.
Along with BTS and the Backstreet Boys, several acts also hung out to chat with nationally syndicated shows and performances by acts including Kim Petras, Noah Cyrus, MAX, Loote, Chris Daughtry and Enrique Iglesias.
Kelly Clarkson, Echosmith, En Vogue, Luis Fonsi, Martin Garrix, Bryce Vine, Kygo and more acts also stopped by the backstage event.

Shawn Mendes is going to be put on a very emotional performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
The 19-year-old superstar will reportedly sing “Youth” accompanied by the Majory Stoneman Douglas High School Show Choir at the show, according to TMZ.

The performance will be a tribute to those affected by gun violence. Shawn and Khalid reportedly wanted to shed light on the horrifying issue of gun violence that continues to plague the country, including the most recent mass shooting at Santa Fe High School on Friday (May 18) that left ten people dead.
The performance will feature 12 members of the Parkland choir. Those who watched the rehearsal were also reportedly left in tears.
The show airs on Sunday night (May 20) starting at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Ariana Grande has unveiled a “No Tears Left to Cry” mural on Sunset Boulevard!
The singer revealed the gorgeous artwork on Thursday (May 3) in Los Angeles, ahead of her opening performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
It is located on the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Stanley Avenue (1510 N. Stanley Ave.).
Painted by The Most Famous Artist and designed by Ariana, NBC, and Dick Clark Productions, the mural is a collaboration between the Billboard Music Awards and Ariana to promote her new single and upcoming performance on the BBMAs.
Fans are encouraged to visit the mural, take photos in front of it, and post their content on social media with the hashtag #ARIANA_BBMAs.
The art will be up until May 20, when the 2018 Billboard Music Awards will broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on NBC.

“Every 20th before the album comes out I’m doing something special,” Ariana explained.
She continued, “[This month] I am performing at the Billboard Awards!”
