James Charles makes a glittery statement in an Alexander Wang top while arriving at the 2019 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 6) in New York City.
The beauty influencer shared his thanks for being able to attend his first ball on Instagram later on.
“Thank you so much @youtube for inviting me and @alexanderwangny for dressing me! đź’•” he wrote. “Being invited to such an important event like the ball is such an honor and a step forward in the right direction for influencer representation in the media and I am so excited to be a catalyst.”
Later on, James was seen at the Moschino‘s Met Gala After Party.
Fellow influencer Lilly Singh was also seen at the Met Gala in a gorgeous purple gown.

Nick Jonas did it – he missed the perfect opportunity to bring back his Camp Rock character, Nate Gray.
The 26-year-old singer, who walked the pink carpet with wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a Dior look, joked about the missed opp on social media.

“Honestly should have worn a Camp Rock inspired outfit tonight given the theme was ‘camp’ that would have been super tight,” Nick posted on his feed.
