Here is the list of the stars who picked up awards at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

While we got to see artists like Taylor Swift, Lil Nas X, and the Jonas Brothers accept their prizes on stage, there were several stars who didn’t make it to the show.

Taylor picked up two awards for her “You Need to Calm Down” music video, including Video of the Year and Video for Good.

Even though they weren’t there to accept the prizes, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish both took home multiple awards.

Miley Cyrus hits the stage at the 2019 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The 26-year-old actress looked pretty in a little, black dress for her performance of “Slide Away.”

Miley‘s performance marks her first public appearance since splitting with husband Liam Hemsworth.

Miley released “Slide Away” just a few weeks ago, and it sounds like Miley is singing about the 29-year-old actor on the track.

James Charles steps out for the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards!

The beauty YouTuber hit the red carpet at the event held on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

He donned an all-white ensemble with purple eye makeup, showing off his new bleached hairdo.

“Literally just redid my entire outfit on the way to the VMAs… I’m so nervous rn for some reason but so excited!!! 😬,” James Charles tweeted.

The show is being held in New Jersey for the first time ever this year and it will be hosted by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.

The Jonas Brothers hit the stage inside and outside at the 2019 MTV VMAs on Monday (August 26) at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas performed two of their songs during their performance taped on Sunday night before it aired during the awards show.

The brothers performed their song “Sucker” inside at the Stone Pony before heading outside to the pier to perform “Only Human.”

Here is a fact that we think everyone will agree with – Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello‘s performance at the VMAs was totally the hottest one of the night!

The two singers performed their new single “Senorita” live for the first time at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Earlier in the night, Shawn also went solo to perform his song “If I Can’t Have You.”

“Senorita” was nominated for five awards this evening, including Best Collaboration and Song of the Summer.

FYI: Shawn is wearing a Paul Smith outfit. Camila is wearing a PatBo dress and Noudar earrings.

Taylor Swift knows that whenever she has a chance to speak in front of America, she should use her platform for good.

The 29-year-old singer decided to promote the Equality Act while accepting an award at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Taylor was joined by the cast of her “You Need to Calm Down” music video to accept the awards for Video of the Year and Video for Good.

Joining Taylor and co-executive producer Todrick Hall were Dexter Mayfield, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Hayley Kiyoko, Jonathan Van Ness, Hannah Hart, Jade Jolie, Hannah Hart, Trinity The Tuck, Trinity K Bonet, Akeria C Davenport, Tatianna, Riley Knoxx, and co-director Drew Kirsch.

Taylor used the speech for Video of the Year to promote her petition to support the Equality Act, which has over 500,000 signatures. She pointed out that this is five times the amount of signatures needed for a response from the White House!

The 21-year-old singer sang his hot song “If I Can’t Have You” early on in the night on Monday (August 26) at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Shawn will be hitting the stage one more time during the show to perform his song “Senorita” alongside girlfriend Camila Cabello. This will be the first time they perform the song live and it happens to be the day the song reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
