Sofia Carson delivers a beautiful version of her song “Applause” during the 2023 Oscarsheld at Dolby Theatre on Sunday evening (March 12) in Hollywood.
The 29-year-old singer and actress was of course joined by songwriter Diane Warren, who played piano during the performance, which was the first of the night from the Best Original Song nominees.
Diana is up for her 14th nomination this evening for the song, featured in the film Tell It Like a Woman.
“Our song is an anthem for women, from the powerful film ‘Tell It Like A Woman’. A film directed by women, about women, for everyone. A beautiful and deeply timely reminder to applaud ourselves for how far we’ve come, and to applaud ourselves for how far we will go. Because we fight like women, we survive like women, and we do it together,” Sofia previously shared of the song. “On behalf of all women, thank you, Diane, for giving us Applause…”

Gregory Mann dons a textured blazer with a blue tie while hitting the carpet at the 2023 Oscarsheld at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 12) in Hollywood.
The young actor completed his look with a pair of sneakers, bringing his youthful energy to the annual awards show.
Gregory, who voices Pinocchio in Guillermo De Toro’s Pinocchio, was also seen posing with a wooden statue of the character, alongside co-star David Bradley, who voices Geppetto. He also held a statue of his character.
Guillermo De Toro’s Pinocchio is nominated tonight for Best Animated Feature, alongside Disney/Pixar’s Turning Red, The Sea Beast, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

Ariana DeBose wears a bit of a sparkly number while arriving for the 2023 Oscars at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 12) in Hollywood.
The 32-year-old Oscar-winning actress did the thing as she worked the champagne-colored carpet at the annual awards show.

Halle Bailey looks like a real life Disney princess while arriving for the 2023 Oscars on Sunday (March 12) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The 22-year-old The Little Mermaid star shared that she’s definitely in attendance for a reason.
On the carpet, Halle teased a sneak peek of her upcoming movie, and talked about being excited to sing the original songs for the live-action film as well as the new songs from Alan Menken and Lin-Manuel Miranda, which she thinks viewers will embrace.
Halle and her co-star Melissa McCarthy are both set to present during the ceremony. Can’t wait!

Gabriel LaBelle goes red while hitting the champagne-colored carpet at the 2023 Oscars held at Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 12) in Hollywood.
The 20-year-old actor makes his Oscars debut as he stars as a version of a young Steven Spielberg in The Fabelmans, which is up for multiple awards.
Also stepping out was his co-star Chloe East, who looked gorgeous in a black, strapless gown.
The Fabelmans is nominated this evening for Best Picture, Best Original Score, Best Actress for Michelle Williams, Best Supporting Actor for Judd Hirsch, Best Director for Steven Spielberg, Best Original Screenplay and Best Production Design. Best of luck to all nominees!
