The Riverdale starlet and singer were in a relationship for only a few months back in 2014 — but it was long enough to inspire a new song off of his new album.
“She was working at Republic of Pie. [I] saw her with her little red curls and I asked her out on a date,” Aaron shared with ET about how he met Madelaine. “I was very gentleman-like with her. We dated for five or six months, something like that, and then we stopped dating.”
Aaron also revealed about how “Seattle Tide” was inspired by Madelaine, after he bumped into her at an airport in Seattle after their breakup.
He also shared that he hasn’t seen Riverdale, where she stars as Cheryl Blossom, at all.
“I have not been watching [Riverdale], but I heard it’s doing great. I’m very happy for her,” he adds. “She’s a very talented actress.”
Chlo Moretz revealed a lot of previously unknown facts about her in her recent Varietyinterview, including that her childhood crush was none other than Aaron Carter.
“When I was 4 years old, I thought Aaron Carter was so cool,” she shared with Variety, “My friend — when we were both little babies back in Georgia — she liked Aaron Carter, too, and we used to fight over who would get Aaron Carter one day. Who knows? Maybe we’ll meet.”
It looks like she could win that contest!
Aaron responded to a video tweet from Variety‘s cover shoot, captioned “@ChloeGMoretz talks about fighting with her friend over their mutual childhood crush, @aaroncarter,” with a tweet of his own.
“Hey @ChloeGMoretz – let’s set up a date,” the 29-year-old singer wrote, “The crush is mutual.”
OMG! Aaron just split from his longtime girlfriend, Madison Parker, citing his bisexuality as part of the reason for the break-up, but it seems he’s more than read to move on.
