Dove Cameron steps out in all black for a Schmigadoon! Season 2 FYC event held at the Saban Media Center on Thursday (April 13) in North Hollywood, Calif.

The 27-year-old actress joined her co-stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Aaron Tveit, Jane Krakowski, Jaime Camil, and Tituss Burgess at the event.

While there, Dove confirmed that she did in fact audition for the role of Glinda in the upcoming Wicked movie adaptation, a role she has been fan cast for for years!

Dove Cameron is brightening up the room in her hot pink outfit!

The 27-year-old actress stepped out for the season two photo call alongside the cast of Schmigadoon on Tuesday morning (March 21) at the Park Lane Hotel in New York City.

Dove was joined by co-stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Aaron Tveit, Jane Krakowski, Jaime Camil, and Ann Harada, as well as creator and executive producer Cinco Paul.

The new season will enter a new era of musicals. Having found true love in the town of Schmigadoon, season two of Schmigadoon! will find Josh (Key) and Melissa (Strong) in Schmicago, the reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals.

Season two premieres on April 7, with the first two episodes of its six episode second season, followed by new episodes every Friday through May 5, 2023. Watch the trailer now!

Schmigadoon! heads into a new era of musicals in the season two trailer!

Dove Cameron and Ariana DeBose are among the stars who are returning for the new season, debuting on Apple TV+.

Also returning for season two are Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Kristin Chenoweth, Martin Short, Alan Cumming, Jane Krakowski, Ann Harada and Aaron Tveit.

We still can’t get the songs from Grease: Live out of our heads after last night’s amazing production, so thankfully Fox has uploaded almost every performance video online!

Some of the ones that we can’t stop watching include Vanessa Hudgens‘ heart-breaking rendition of “There Are Worst Things I Could Do” and Keke Palmer‘s show-stopping number “Freddy My Love,” which wasn’t featured in the movie version.

Make sure to listen to the soundtrack to hear all the great songs again. The album is climbing the charts on iTunes and it currently sits in the top five.

The cast – which includes Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens, Aaron Tveit, and Carly Rae Jepsen – got into the recording studio to record these tracks and it is now available to purchase on iTunes now and stream via Spotify.

Jessie J kicks off the soundtrack with her version of the classic “Grease is the Word” and Joe Jonas makes an appearance with his band DNCE for a new version of their hit song “Cake By the Ocean,” among other tracks.
