If you haven’t been on social media for the past few days, or even if you have, you might not know that a handful of young girls of color are now missing.

There have been no Amber Alerts to tell anyone, and no major outlet had picked up the story before a few days ago and now celebs like Candice Patton, Lauren Jauregui, Rowan Blanchard and more are hoping to find them all.

“Stay vigilant, watch out for each other, say lots of prayers for these women and their families,” Lauren writes on her Instagram. “No humans should be missing and we really need to fix how normalized the conversation about missing children has become.”

She adds, “We have to stop being ok with the answer being that it is potentially due to human trafficking (which happens to be a billion dollar industry in the United States) we need to start asking the right questions and getting the proper answers. We need to stop telling girls to be careful and stay home so they are not abducted and if they are that they are not important enough to be reported about.”

Ethan Dolan and Grayson Dolan make their living making us laugh (um, the hot pictures don’t hurt, either).

The 17-year-old brothers love to riff on each other, but this weekend, things took a seriously cool turn.

Ethan announced on Twitter that he and brother Grayson “roasted” anti-LGBTQ protestors on the sidewalk.

Grayson added, teasing his followers: “I can’t tell you what we said,” implying that it was NSFW, or at least, for Twitter.

Fifth Harmony‘s Lauren Jauregui got vocal at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.

The 20-year-old singer and activist joined spoke out at a three-part panel series at the film, interactive media, and music festival this weekend.

Lauren‘s panel topic “People Aren’t Illegal: The Importance of Immigration and Asylum” is close to her heart.

“It kills me that we live in a world where we question people’s humanity,” said Lauren, who describes herself as bisexual Cuban-American. “Nothing defines a human except their heart, mind, words, and actions. That makes you a human.”

Joining Lauren on the panel — which was hosted by Urban Outfitters and Teen Vogue — was Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, who founded Muslim Girl when she was in high school.

Amani had great advice for aspiring young activists.

“This is that moment in history that future generations will look back on. We don’t want them to look back and say – How did that happen? We want them to say, ‘Yo�the people won,’” she said.

Activists Rowan Blanchard, Lauren Jauregui and Yara Shahidi lit up Austin, Texas, as part of a three-part panel series on Art and Activism during SXSW.

The series — hosted by collab partners Urban Outfitters and Teen Vogue — brought together three of the strongest young celebrity activist voices at the annual film, interactive media and music festival.

“I define activism as a need to know, help and explain,” Rowan said during her panel called “The Intersection of Art x Activism: Using your Voice as a Tool for Change,” which was moderated by Teen Vogue superstar editor Elaine Welteroth.

Yara spoke out about how powerful voices of her generation really are. “We are creating our own cannon – we are in charge of how we will be viewed by future generations,” she said.

Lauren joined Amani Al-Khatahtbeh, founder of Muslim Girl, to speak on the topic “People Aren’t Illegal: The Importance of Immigration and Asylum.”

Lauren‘s talking about this topic comes after she penned a powerful open letter to President Donald Trump regarding his Muslim ban.

This is just another awesome example of young stars using their celebrity for good. Way to go, ladies!

Academy Award winner (aw, that has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it!) Emma Stone used her high profile last night to make some subtle, but strong, political statements last night.

The 28-year-old actress, who took home the Best Actress award with the sweetest speech — swapped her Planned Parenthood pin for a blue ribbon at the 2017 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.

What does the blue ribbon stand for?

It’s to show her support for the American Civil Liberties Union.

She wasn’t the only star showing support for the ACLU.

Activist and Girl Meets World actress Rowan Blanchard made a statement about trendy feminist clothing on her Instagram Story last night.

Ro has proven she’s not afraid to speak out about what she believes in, and she wants fellow activists to know that feminism, or any other political movement, shouldn’t come at a cost.

In this case, Rowan is taking clothing companies to task for charging outrageous prices for clothing with feminist slogans, for example.

“It’s important to keep in mind the second there is a chance for businesses to capitalize on things that become mainstream, they will take it,” she wrote. “It’s cool to buy political/feminist tee shirts when the $$$ is going to a nonprofit that fights for PoC/tpoc/queer/women/etc.”

The 15-year-old star went on to say that she’s not into “consumerist classist feminism,” and that what really matters is that people take to the streets and to the phones to protest and to resist what they disagree with.

The Fosters star Maia Mitchell has a strong voice, and she wants to use it.

Yes, she’s a singer, too, but we’re talking about activism.

The Australian-born actress was one of 750,000 people who hit the streets of Los Angeles to protest in the 2017 Women’s March.

So when we jumped on the phone with her this week to talk all things The Fosters, we had to ask her why joining the movement was so important to her.

“I think the Women’s March was an amazing moment for feminism and the country,” she told JJJ. “It’s a really dangerous time for women, so it was really important to me that I was there. You have to practice what you preach.”

Maia told us there are so many women who inspire her, but there is one woman who has really shaped who she is as a smart and confident young woman.

“My mom is a fierce feminist,” she said, “so all of my values are totally emerging form her. All of my friends and family are like-minded in that space. I’m from a really alternative area in Australia — it’s full of really interesting, creative and like-minded individuals. I feel very lucky to have been raised in that kind of political climate.”

It’s important to her, Maia (who comes from Lismore, New South Wales, Australia) added, to use her fame for issues that are important to her. “I feel like I have to use my platform as a voice,” she said. “I think it’s everyone’s responsibility to do whatever they can.”
