“Wait” hit-makers Maroon 5 caused a panic on Wednesday (January 17) after replying to a few fans on Twitter asking about a collaboration between the two superstar troupes.
When one fan wrote “PLEASE MAKE A COLAB WITH @BTS_twt,” the band simply responded with “:).”
“Don’t play with my emotions! Tell me this means you’ll do a collaboration with @BTS_twt” another tweeted at the group, to which they responded with a GIF of Elmo shrugging!
“But really what is the answer??” another followed up.
“not sure you can handle it” Maroon 5 responded. The suspense is killing us!
We now know all of the team mentors for the upcoming season of The Voice, and one in particular may surprise you.
While Miley Cyrus‘ choice of her dad Billy Ray Cyrus is intuitive (and may give her team a country edge), we definitely would not have guessed that Joe Jonas would be serving as a mentor for Adam Levine‘s team!
“He’s a beautiful man,” Adam joked to Entertainment Tonight in a video explaining why he selected him. “No, I love him and I’ve known him for a long time, and now I love him even more. He offers very sound advice and I trust his opinion.”
“Everyone we’ve worked with is really talented,” Joe added.
We can’t wait to watch Joe in action! Watch the full video below:
Adam Levine & Joe Jonas Talk Working Together on ‘The Voice’
During tonight’s episode of the singing competition show, the 38-year-old musician and his team performed an emotional tribute of The Beatles‘ “Hey Jude” to Christina.
Last year, Christina was shot and killed during one of her performances in Florida.
Adam was Christina‘s coach on season six of The Voice and helped her finish in third place.
“God, I loved her so much,” Adam said on tonight’s show. “I am talking to you guys specifically, I’m talking to everybody. I miss her. It is unfair she is not here. We are going to sing a little song. I am going to be singing every word to her in her honor. Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you.”
They each showed off their vocals during a different section of the song! Watch the amazing performance below.
The Voice returns for a brand new season on September 19 on NBC. Be sure to check it out! Miley and Alicia are first time coaches on the show this season.
The Voice coach, who mentored the late 22-year-old singer to third place in season six, is paying for her funeral services, according to Christina‘s hero brother Mark.
“I found out this morning, that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for the funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away,” Mark wrote on Facebook. “Now a friend just told me to look at the gofundme page and I see it is at 100k. Words cannot express…literally I have no words.”
Christina was tragically shot and killed during her meet-and-greet at The Plaza Live after her concert on Friday (June 10) in Orlando, Fla.
