“I loved doing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” she told Graham Norton on his BBC Radio 2 show on Friday (June 8). “It was a very different role for me and I loved to play somewhat of a villain.”
“You know I would love to come back and play Ruby again,” she continued. “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Marvel is one of those cool worlds where anything can happen. I think a few seasons ago somebody lost their head and was able to come back or something like that.”
“I was always told by the producers that in this kind of world anything can happen, you can always come back,” Dove Cameron added. “I haven’t heard anything yet, but I would certainly love to. It’s a great cast and crew. No [the door isn't shut].”
The 21-year-old actress and singer is opening up about how she gets into character and gets into Ruby’s head space.
“Try to stay in the headspace where you feel a HEAVY and BURNING anger, but don’t want to let the person you’re talking to know how emotional you are,” she replied to a fan on Twitter. “Lots of small physical signs, aggressive movements in daily activities, focus on dead eyes, lots of silence. control and stillness.”
You can catch Dove on the next episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Friday (April 6) at 9 PM on ABC.
The Descendants actress took to her Instagram to share a special announcement she’s been waiting to reveal, but before she could finish, Clark Gregg tells her “no.”
“Hey guys, so I know I’ve been promising you some announcements for a while and I’m so excited ’cause I finally get to tell you about one that I’ve been waiting to tell you for forever,” she says when Clark walks up.
“What’s up? No? No go? Sorry guys,” she finishes before the two hop in a golf cart and drive off.
“new announcement coming in a few hours,” she tweeted earlier in the day. After her “announcement” she added, “I am such a happy munchkin.”
In “Uprising,” as Coulson (Clark Gregg), Mack (Henry Simmons), and Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) attempt to track down and neutralize a rogue group looking to end Inhuman Registration worldwide, Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Dr. Radcliffe (John Hannah) only have hours to save May before she succumbs forever to her mysterious illness.
