While she didn’t look under the weather at all, Aimee has been battling a cold.
“Survived opening night with the help of the incredible #ThePortugueseKid family, my wonderful husband @Mrtimrock, and Sudafed,” she wrote on Twitter afterwards.

With Hurricane Irma and other disasters brewing, our world is a dangerous place to be right now for many.
Aimee Carrero is doing her part to help her fans and to raise awareness by urging everyone via Twitter to evacuate Florida before Irma hits.
“If I was in Florida, I’d get in a car, bus, plane, train and leave right now,” the Young & Hungry actress wrote. “#Irma.”
When one Floridian said they were going to try to “stick it out,” Aimee dismissed them.
“I grew up in Florida,” she wrote. “I’m a ‘true Floridian.’ I can tell you that Florida has never seen a storm like this.”
Aimee took to Twitter again today (September 8) to urge Floridians not to be passive.
“I’d rather be an over-reactor than swimming in my living room, watching the roof fly off my house,” she continued. “Evacuate if your area is orderd to! #Irma”
This isn’t the first time Aimee has tried to help with hurricane relief — late last month she injured herself after raising money for Hurricane Harvey victims.

Aimee Carrero is showing off all of her tattoos she donned on American Horror Story: Cult‘s premiere episode last night.
The actress, who you know from Young & Hungry and Elena of Avalor, guest starred on the FX anthology series, and will sadly, not be coming back as her character died.
“Just a quickie in the park! Here are some close ups of my cool tattoos! #AHScult,” Aimee captioned with a handful of pics.
We have to admit, they do look cool!
The next day, Aimee joined her co-stars Jason Alexander, Mary Testa, Pico Alexander and Sherie Rene Scott for a press day for their upcoming play, The Portuguese Kid, at MTC rehearsal studio in New York City.
Aimee Carrero started out today doing something amazing.
The Young and Hungry actress was just one of the celebs answering phone calls with Andi Mack star Joshua Rush on Good Morning America for Day of Giving, but then, she fell.
“It wasn’t embarrassing, was it? No one saw it,” Aimee says, brushing it off like a champ.
Aimee updated her fans on the clumsy event, showing off her scrapes she endured and insisted she was fine.
However, that didn’t mean she didn’t have to go to the hospital for it.
She is okay — Aimee got all bandaged up and even got a Tetanus shot for good measure and is now home, “on the mend”.
The actress is celebrating her 29th birthday today (July 15) while at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., all while promoting new details about Elena of Avalor. She even got a cake backstage!
During a panel, showrunners announced that Elena of Avalor‘s all-new special Realm of Jaquins will be out in August.
Originally meant to be the season finale, the new special sees Elena traveling to the realm of the jaquins, and unknowingly puts her kingdom, Avalor in danger.
Did we wake up in a parallel universe or something — because Josh is kissing Sofia on Young & Hungry!
In the episode “Young & Amnesia,” Gabi (Emily Osment) is horrified when Josh (Jonathan Sadowski) doesn’t remember her after a bump on the head, especially since he seems to remember everyone else and he was about to tell her something important.
When Josh thinks he and Gabi met right before his accident at her audition to be his chef, Gabi sets out to recreate their first meeting in the hopes of jogging his memory.
