Naomi Scott‘s Princess Jasmine is getting a full fashion makeover in the upcoming live-action Aladdin and we are in love with all of her 11, yes eleven, outfits!
The 25-year-old actress, along with costume designer Michael Wilkinson, opened up about how Jasmine’s fashion represents her story between structure and freedom.
“The main conversation is structure versus freedom that I think is obviously is the metaphor for her journey as a character,” Naomi shared with EW. “If she’s wearing something that’s structured and beautiful, it can’t just be the sake of it looking great, it needs to be connected to the story.”
One of our personal faves is an orange gown with green accents that Jasmine wears, while being presented to Prince Ali.
“The color and the material and the detail just brings it into a whole different world,” Naomi shared. “That’s where you get the things that clash and come together and create something new, so that’s what I loved about this outfit.”

Based on the 1992 animated film, and classic story, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad and Billy Magnussen also star in the flick.

The 23-year-old actress recently spoke to USA Today about Jasmine’s new song in the upcoming live-action movie, Aladdin.
The track is called “Speechless,” with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Naomi calls the power ballad a very emotional “belter. It’s a punch in the face. Let’s put it this way, it’s the hardest song I’ve ever sung in my entire life.”
She adds that the song is very timely, as well, with it being about Jasmine finding her own voice and the courage to speak out for her people.
“I mean, how timely is that? (Jasmine’s) not perfect. She doesn’t get it right all the time. It’s just showcasing that she gets to a point where, ‘It’s not going to be easy and I may lose this fight, but I need to step up.’”
“I’m incredibly connected to it, but I really do feel like it’s going to touch upon some things and hopefully speak to young girls out there. That’s my aim, always,” Naomi added.
