Bindi Irwin gives a thumbs up to the cameras as she arrives for dance practice in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 28).
The 17-year-old conservationist met up with pro partner Derek Hough and fellow competitor Alek Skarlatos to get to work on their dance, and again the next day.
“Living at the zoo, it’s a lot easier to study online because I have all the tools at my fingertips. I can learn from my own surroundings. That helps a lot,” Bindi dished to People about how she manages schoolwork on top of her work at the Australia Zoo.
She added, “I never knew how much I already knew about business and tourism until I started taking these courses. We just started ticking things off. After I’m done with that, I want to go to work full-time at the zoo. I love working there.”
Bindi already has her degree certificate in business.

Team Takedown earned 25 points for their Viennese Waltz set to Beyonce‘s “Haunted” before dancing in their team dance, picking up an additional 28 points. Total = 53/60 points.

The next day, Lindsay and Alek stopped by Extra for an appearance before hitting the dance studio for practice.

Team Who You Gonna Call pulled out a cool Ghostbusters theme freestyle for their team dance on tonight’s Dancing With The Stars on Monday night (October 26).
Team captain Bindi Irwin led her amazing team — Alek Skarlatos, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega and pros Derek Hough, Lindsay Arnold, Mark Ballas, and Witney Carson — in an amazing freestyle against Team Nightmare, earning 28 points.

The next day, the 27-year-old actress caught pro partner Mark Ballas majorly rocking out to a song in the car on their way to camera blocking for DWTS later tonight.
