“I have Alexa for the switch-up and she’s awesome. She has an amazing capacity for movement. She can truly be a great dancer. My goal with her is polishing everything,” Derek wrote in his recent blog.
He added, “I want refinement and to make her look clean and strong. We have a pretty cool concept in mind too for our tango. It’s only her second ballroom dance after her first this week, but I don’t feel like she’s behind or anything. She’s doing great and learns quickly.”

She added, “But that’s what makes it fun. We do it all in fun. We’re going to give it our all, but the other night he was like, ‘Babe, I love you so much, but if we get to the finals, you’re going to have to let me win.’”

She added, “We almost did a Charleston to The Flintstones’ theme song, which would have been fun, but I’m super excited for tonight’s cool, edgy jazz number. I think we’re going to bring something really unique and different to the show.”
